Robin Mortimer, 58, late of Coventry, UK, was found dead in a Belgian dungeon in the village of Brecht, near Antwerp. Mr. Mortimer appears to have been participating in an extreme BDSM session with Mistress Lucrezia and Mistress Juno of Brecht, who have been preliminarily charged with assault and battery leading to death, without intent to kill. Mr. Mortimer, a former motorcycle and sports-car racer, and owner of RPM Motorsport was believed to have been participating in an extended punishment session while under the influence of nitrus oxide. The two women are being held in custody pending the results of an autopsy, at which time prosecutors will determine whether or not to proceed with charges against them.
The dungeon was described by a police officer in The Daily Mail as having “the most extreme sado-masochistic equipment they had ever seen - including a vacuum machine for wrapping men’s bodies in airtight cling film.”
